Help build the cloud platform powering large-scale engineering and AI workloads. AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and developer-experience focus - scaling infrastructure, automation and deployment environments across globally distributed systems.

Sydney-based technology company scaling cloud infrastructure for distributed engineering systems and AI workloads. Engineering-led, highly collaborative, focused on automation and developer experience.
You will help shape platform standards and engineering workflows across multiple teams. Broad technical exposure across cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, networking and AI workloads.

Process
Two technical stages plus a final conversation with platform / engineering leadership.
Responsibilities
- ▸ Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- ▸ Develop reusable Terraform modules and automation tooling.
- ▸ Improve reliability, scalability and operational performance across platform environments.
- ▸ Support globally distributed connectivity and infrastructure systems.
- ▸ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- ▸ Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and automation processes.
- ▸ Improve developer workflows, deployment velocity and operational visibility.
- ▸ Collaborate closely with software, infrastructure and AI/ML engineering teams.
Requirements
- ▸ Strong hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
- ▸ Experience building and maintaining cloud environments using Terraform.
- ▸ Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking capability.
- ▸ Comfortable across infrastructure, networking and deployment environments.
- ▸ Strong automation mindset with focus on reliability and scalability.
- ▸ Kubernetes and Docker; ECS / EKS; IAM, VPCs, Load Balancers, CloudFront, RDS, S3.
- ▸ GitLab CI/CD or similar; Go, Python or TypeScript.
Bonus
- ▸ Experience improving DORA metrics and engineering delivery performance.
- ▸ AWS cost optimisation and Well-Architected Framework exposure.
- ▸ Secrets management tooling (Vault, SOPS, AWS Secrets Manager).
- ▸ MLOps or data-intensive infrastructure experience.
- ▸ Highly regulated or high-compliance environments.
